Happy 2018!! For our first show of the year, Ben & I wanted to offer some tips & strategies to help our listeners eat more ethically and sustainably. This week, we focused on understanding food labels, terminology and certifications. Starting by explaining why these are so confusing in the first place.
On November 10th, Lauren Gawthrop, Marketing Manager, and Bill Bickford, General Manager, of Good Foods Co-op joined me to discuss the Co-op's 45 year history of serving our community. AND to discuss how the Co-op plans to continue serving for another 45 years! We also talked about how the Co-op model differs from the traditional grocery retail business, particularly when it comes to locally produced foods.
