Food For Thought Friday is back! It's been a while since I've posted a FFTF. I've been busy with the daily chronicling of our recent 21DSD. Now that we're done detoxing, I'm back on track with these weekly Blog postings. And this week's FFTF is such a treat. So Enjoy 😍
On Tuesday (August 16th), I was a guest on Hot Water Cornbread: Kentucky Food Radio. The show broadcast from the studios of Lexington Community Radio (WLXU 93.9). It was such great FUN -- geeking out on Real Food with hosts Rona Roberts and Ouita and Chris Michel.
I've known Rona for years. We've been sweating it out in the Sterling Hot Yoga Works studio since way back when. And Rona is a local food celebrity -- the creative genius behind Savoring Kentucky. A Blog that celebrates the wonders of Kentucky foods, farms, farmers, restaurants, chefs, distillers, orchards, markets. All the deliciously, fabulous bounty that Kentucky offers!
Ouita and Chris Michel are THE power couple in our vibrant and burgeoning local restaurant industry. From the beginning, the Michels have made locally grown ingredients a priority in their various cuisines. They do local, Real Food right!! So for all my local peeps, if you want to eating out and stay on course with Real Foods -- definitely go to one of their restaurants. You'll find plenty of options and delectable, delicious, luscious delights of Real Food goodness made with local Kentucky flare 😋 😋 😋
It was an honor to be their guests. To have this opportunity to promote the Realistic FoodEs philosophy. AND spread the message about this movement to empower people to find their BEST selves through Real Food.
Here is a link to the podcast 👉🏽 Podcast 44: Rowena Mahloch makes Realistic Sense of Real Food. Thanks again Rona, Ouita & Chris!! You're what makes us Kentucky Proud 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽
Kick Sugar To The Curb!
If you decide to take this challenge, please let me know. I have received so much support and positive energy from you all. That I would like to return the favor 😉
