I've been extolling the virtues of 100% Grass-fed, Pasture-raised meat and poultry 💯🌱💚⚖🐄🐓🐖🍽
But I do realize this is not an option for everyone 🤔 So if not available at stores or local farms or not within your budget. Please don't let these be barriers to joining the Real Food Movement.
When we started our Real Food journey, I bought conventionally raised meat. I honestly had no idea grass-fed or pasture raised was a thing. As I learned more about food quality. The concept of eating sustainably raised meat became important. Such that I sought out resources and learned to navigate our local food system. And 5 years later, here I am with a freezer full of all this nutritiously fabulous meat and poultry 💯🌱💚⚖🐄🐓🐖🙌🏽
But this progress transpired at our own pace. Incorporating better quality meat and poultry in a way that made sense within the framework of our lives (i.e., our budget and my food prep skills).
Eliminating processed and refined foods from your life is the first step. And even incremental progress towards your goal of lifelong health ought to be celebrated 🤗😘😍
